Northport Youth Football is a youth football organization that has developed players starting as young as 5 years old for Commack, Northport, Harborfields, Elwood, and the surrounding areas. Northport Youth Football left Suffolk County PAL league and now plays in a superior league called the Big Tri-State league. The Big Tri-State league is the fastest growing youth football league in Long Island and is currently open for other towns to join. Northport Youth football which is now LI Knights Football has made a strong impact for the past 15 years in developing young players and preparing them for the high school level. The new LI Knights Youth Football program is lead by many of the same volunteers that made the former Northport Football league so successful. The youth program is a crucial part of the town’s football culture and helps to ensure that the Commack Cougars remain a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
